How to do batch watermark with photoshop

Here is to show how to batch edit your lovely beaotiful photos to add watermark using photoshop.

I was using CS3 version, so, i think is roughly the same with other version lar, hahha XD

Step 1, Open up the Action Panel, and select “Create New Action”

Step 2, name your action. and here I make it name as “Watermark-Vertical”. because I want this watermark apply specially for vertical picture.

and you will see there is a new action created, and it will start record your action. Your Action Panel should have the record button Pressed.

Step 3, Now, create a new layer.

Step 4, In this new layer, start to create your watermark. You can insert text, create shape, make them transparent, add shadow, etc etc.

Just do whatever style of watermark you want, and all your step will be recored. if you wan to make copyright, proceed to File > File info, and fill the copyright information there.

Step 5, And when done creating your watermark, you can proceed to save with your desired file format. Once done, can proceed to Close the file.

Step 6, and now, go to Action Panel, click the Stop button that just beside the Record button. You can see all the steps were recorded.

Step 7, is time to do some magic. Go to File > Automate > Batch. Then at this window, choose the desired Action you want. And select the Folder source. At the Destination, you can choose “Save and Close“. Then click Ok. You shall see the photoshop is doing the work for you and done! =D
