[warning.. plain wording ahead]

It is fast, where october have arrived.

I have really have not much time to update my blog in the september T.T

There are few post want to write but still in procastinating…

And I should says am I getting more busy? here are some updatess

Assignments, works, classes..

and recently my secondary school St John ex-member contacted that they are forming a new adult division. Before I came to KL the pass 4-5 years for study and works, am still a little active for the millenium combined adult division MCAD. But now have long lost contact with them though~ XD hahah

Hope the new division form that I join will able to provide front line – first aid services to the public. There are lots to be done and hope I can contribute some.

For the study, I have taken two modules this time, which is mean having two classes for a week, two assignments to be submit and one exam is coming.. God of me.. Spare me the speeds to complete in time..

About works there, since I left Lee Hung Scientific and back to Penang, I have join Exabytes and the company is really nice. Despite there was a major downturn in the end of last year and early of 2009, I have now recovered much may be have some related to the good working environment here. Yeap, the high workload is there, but it is actually not a problem. I think only my uni-mate knows me well in this ya? XD kakaka

Apart from what is good is, no dating XD hahah. The after effect of the broken relationship is still there. To be honest, no time for relationship, cause have geared up so much to keep filling my time since that… And also, “you are the first and the last girl that is in my life”.. may be I need a goddess to save me from this asshole thinking.. XD hahah

Yet, I have spent more time in office and class rather than at home. Even my father help produced two male in the family, but still I am the one who is suppose to bring up this family. I should first fix whatever “holes” in the family first, before I can really out for finding my future? My sis (formerly as cousin) have helped me much since I young, should have let her rest for the coming years.. Lucky~ my family is not big one XD wakaka

and Let’s check how is the wireless broadband usage in the past 3 months.. Seems that I need something have the bandwidth cap more than 5GB ya? haha

The coming October is gonna be busy and more time is consumed up already, heheh

I think frequent update will be more in facebook and twitter, so.. add me there ya =P

http://facebook.marccus.net and http://twitter.marccus.net

But, do anyone notice there is some change in the root page? the marccus.net =P

http://marccus.net

Once you see that.. hiak hiak =P You know there is more things to come up. Hope I won’t receive email in regards of AUP XD I have scheduled lots of thing to be done.. woohoo~ Hope can at least complete before Dec 2009 end..

What I wish now in my greedy list is, faster get me a Nokia E71!! Even though I have no money for that! XD hahah. Dream more lar!

Yet, after all…

I am still the cute little marccus XD wakakak

Cheers for all my friends out there, locally and oversea. Take good care and…

contribute to the Earth! =P

Good Morning Sunday!! Get yourself cherish in the day. =)

You need to spend some time to read the email content posted here, else you may ignore this post XD

This email actually I have received pass few day, I think may share out here, for part of my memory. XD hahah

Before that, I clarify here that I am a graduand from UTAR. keke

Here goes the letter from UTAR alumni (alumni@utar.edu.my) sent one email with the title “Complaints from a Group Manager about the attire of UTAR graduates and students”

And.. the contents goes down here..

Dear graduands and alumni, especially those who are still looking for jobs,

This email may be important to you, please read on this letter written to UTAR by a “Group Manager from a chain of companies”. Although his comments might not be true about the majority of you, but would definitely jeopardise career opportunity of a lot of our garduates.

“I am writing to you in response to the several interview I conducted with
your former students for various position within our group of companies. I
have never come across such ?interesting grooming? that set a very bad first
impression to the interviewers. I wonder if you have any specific guidelines
on student attire during interview as well as in your campus? I am sorry to
have questioned both of you on this matter but let me relate my ?wonderful?
and ?eye washing? experience with you.

We have received 18 applications from your former students for an interview
and eight of them came for the interview from last week until yesterday but
all of them have been rejected in the first 15 minutes. They do not know
what and how to wear in showing respect to the interviewers. Among some of
the fashion fauxpas includes blonde or colourful hairs, short sleeves or
raised collar shirt, messy jeans, ¾ pants, slippers/sandals, chunky
necklaces and bracelets. One of them even came for the interview as though
she is going ?clubbing?. This is office work and in executive position. How
can they wear like these to an interview?

I further went to your campus in Setapak this morning to personally look at
your students attire and I got a shock of my life. Your students did wore
singlet, ¾ pants, sandals and messy jeans to class. When I approached few of
your students, they simply said its allowable in the campus. In fact, one of
them said the lecturers like it so much?

May I advise you that students MUST respect the University, the lecturers
and other co-students by wearing appropriate attire in the campus at all
times. We cannot allow students who bore part of their flesh and body hairs
in the campus. What had becoming to this generation?s students attitude and
behaviour? Where are their discipline? Being an educator, shouldn?t it be
our responsibility to ensure students? characteristics are well formed here?

I sincerely hope UTAR can look into this matter seriously and come out with
a more stringent guideline with regards to student attire. Obviously, we
want to avoid any possible incidence that could have happened as a result of
baring too much of our flesh in the campus. I understand that UTAR students
are very much sought after in the labour market but this record can become
history if the newest generation continues to wear inappropriately in the
campus and carry the same mindset when they look for jobs in the market.

For your information, after such incidence, we have decided not to proceed
with interviewing the balance ten applicants. UTAR students may be good
academically but it?s their character and well being that counts during the
first interview.”

Last but not least, some advice from UTAR: You can be as fashionable as you wish during social interactions, but for formal occassions, especiaoly like attending interviews, it would be advantageous to be vigilant about your attire, gesture and hair style, ie. formal office attire is preferred.

Thank you for your attention.

Best regards

Haha, I really feel funny for this email. It did cheers my day abit when I first reading on it.

I personally feels that there are some students nowadays that do not serious in what they have live for. Would it because they are easily being influence by the environment that are media-rich and fashion-rich? Haha XD

But for this case, the party that goes wrong should be on both side lar. Both UTAR and those students themselves. UTAR may need more time to emphasize their rules and regulations. Helo Prof. Chua, you want to make UTAR into International Grade one right? kaka XD Then the student themselves also wear nicely abit lar at least give respect to ownself. Wear like that to interview, it just let people know that you do not respect yourself also.

So.. what do you wear normally when attending interview? =)
