Bon Odori 2009 Penang – Japanese Ghost Festival
On the day 18 July 2009, marccus and Chun Siang dua kuku go to Penang Esplanade for the event Bon Odori!
Actually this is the first time marccus went over there XD kaka
Here is the field in Esplanade when we first step in. Lucky is today is not raining. XD
Once we just go in not long, there already got some dance performance started.
You see! the kids dancing are so cute! XD kaka
Down the stage there are Lots of people watching the performance.
Even there have such super camera gang built up their special town XD kaka
really wow~~
Here is the VIP watching stage.
And marccus have a chance to take photo with YB Lim. XD wakaka

Then out of sudden, spotted one guy with familiar face. He is leng zai David, who is same uni with him, and he also is a Cari member.
And then, we spotted a gang of leng lui!!
But hav’t go snap photo with them, cause we are extremely hungry XD haha
We then go scout out the food to purchase the food ticket first.
Here this one is the Malaysia Japanese Society booth. Nope, they don’t sell tickets. We just passed by.
This one is the one that sell ticket. Guess what? One Booklet tickets sell at RM 20/= hmm..
And… I met Mr. Chan!! my boss!! wakaka XD
He is the CEO of Exabytes, in case you don’t know him.
Then I also take with vivian since she also come here. wakaka XD
Here is the first Japanese family we take picture with. Me and Chun Siang also got take turn to take the same picture actually XD wakaka, just that I didn’t put him here. However, picture may find out from my facebook side there after I uploaded to there =P
Next we found this very very kawaii girl! XD

This drink Chun Siang said, last time his mother do bought and drink it.
But we got no chance to try. Already sold all pula! -_-
fuiyo, yakult also come here. you can get one free sample from there actually. and they sell cheaper for one pack of yakult there, only RM 3/= and RM 4/=

After we finish bought our food. We going back to the field and find a place to sit down and hamta our food.
and we saw this couple.. nearly spill out our RM 20 of food.. gosh..
Eat half way, I saw Mr Chan again.
He said he going back already, later his baby can’t wait till so late need rest first. And I get a chance to take picture with his family. keke
Then, continue eat eat eat..
The stage continuously have pretty girls and aunty dancing on there. Very nice performance. =)
Even this energetic boy also dance until aura come out. wakaka XD
Watch watch watch, me and Chun Siang start to find those with Japanese Costume people to take picture. keke =P
and met with Ting You also, XD my secondary school mate =P
Then leng lui leng zai~ keke
with Karen, just know her at Bon Odori this time. Chun Siang and Chris said she is very pretty and Charming.

Okie. I admit, I do attracted to their dancing. Karen do dance very well =)
And now, out of sudden, Chris hit me from behind! wakaka XD
he and Nicholas also reached here! kaka XD and this is when Chris told me Karen is charming =P nyek nyek nyek.
The time is near to firework presentation. The stage performance is good and not letting the mood down any moment also. It’s getting higher and higher. XD haha
Then.. 10… 9… 8… 7… 6… 5.. 4.. 3..

The Firework is here!!!!!
Very very nice firework show! and it is about 10 minutes long!! omg. XD
After the firework show, before we went back. We still manage to find people to take photos!! wakaka
And now I met Chris! She is the one in-charge for Famine 30 Camps Penang. hehe. She also show me few of the campers at there. So, August, I will be hunger for 30 hours!!
Last but not least, finally we get to take photo with them! wakkaka XD
The last picture taken is with Cari Gang. David was actually come and attend Cari members Gathering one XD kaka
And finally we go back~~

Then until we both dua kuku reach room, it’s already after 12pm~

Hey, Penang’s Bonodori seems more fun than KL one. I went last year to the KL one (1st time). just food and dance performance. I don remember got fire works. then no beautiful buildings. No leng CHai!! but do have cute little one. ahhh~ I wan go back Penang!!
