What is Internet of Things – IoT
Internet of Things (IoT) was first initiate back in 2013 and currently is getting more conversation covering this topic in tech segment.
What exactly is this? It seems to be a bit chunk of data collected and transmitted from everywhere to everywhere. Sensors and receivers gonna be just everywhere.
For example, a temperature sensor installed in a room, transmit data to the internet and reach to you to let you know the room temperature in the room. That’s more toward a one-way directional information display. But, in a massive way.
Below are two introductory video from IBM and Intel in showing how IoT gonna be like. Coincidently, both of this two companies were using car in their explanation. Why? Probably more easy to show the concept.
